If you would like to walk in the Serranía de Ronda, but don't wish to join a guided group, here is the ideal solution... a week's walking between the picturesque white villages of the Genal valley, with an information pack containing all you need to find your way as well as a host of interesting facts about the region... and with your luggage moved for you! Suitable for groups of 2-10 persons.
NORMAL PROGRAMME
ONE WEEK Activities: 5 walks of 4H30-6H30; free day to visit Ronda by bus. No technical difficulty; on (sometimes steep) footpaths with a few 'off path' sections. Denivellations 500-800m a day. The itineraries are waymarked as well as being comprehensively described in our information pack. We transfer your luggage between the villages.
FULL BOARD in twin rooms, 4 nights in hotels (private bathrooms) at Benarrabá (1), and Benadalid (3); 3 nights at Jubrique with a host family. Note that drinks are not included with the dinner at Benarrabá.
PRICE per person group of 2-3: 615 euros; group of 4-10: 565 euros; single room +100 euros.
INCLUDED: full board, dossier, transfers from/to Málaga, transfer of luggage.
NOT INCLUDED: bus Benadalid-Ronda (about 4 euros return); entrance fees to monuments.

Ideal for families with children during the summer holidays, or any group preferring easier paced walking.
ONE WEEK Activities: 5 walks of 3-5 hours (4 circular around Jubrique, 1 linear); free day to visit Ronda by bus. No technical difficulty; on (sometimes steep) paths. The itineraries are waymarked as well as being comprehensively described in our information pack. We transfer your luggage between the villages.
FULL BOARD in twin rooms, 6 nights at Jubrique with a host family, one in hotel at Benadalid.
PRICE per person group of 2-3: 565 euros; group of 4-10: 515 euros; single room +60 euros.

SUNDAY: Transfer from Málaga to Jubrique. Dinner and night at Jubrique.
MONDAY: Morning walk to Genalguacil (renowned for its summer sculpture masterclasses, the results of which can be seen in the streets). Lunch at a venta. Descent to the Genal (bathing possible) then climb to Benarrabá. Dinner and night at Benarrabá.
TUESDAY: Along the higher slopes of the west side of the Genal valley: superb views and the villages of Algatocín (lunch) and Benalauría. Dinner and night at Benadalid.
WEDNESDAY: A day off walking to visit Ronda with our historical topo-guide and travelling by local bus from Benadalid (50 mins). Picnic. Bus fares (about 2 euros each way) and entrance fees not included. Dinner and night at Benadalid.
THURSDAY: A day in the broad, open Guadiaro valley, a remarkable contrast to the narrow, wooded Genal. Herds of goats and black pigs, and (usually) bands of Griffon vultures. Picnic. Dinner and night at Benadalid.
FRIDAY: From Benadalid, you walk down to the Genal at La Gambilla (river bathing possible) and up to Jubrique. Picnic. Dinner and night at Jubrique.
SATURDAY: 'El Monarda' circuit from Jubrique. Picnic. Dinner and last night at Jubrique.
SUNDAY: Transfer to Málaga.
DAY-TO-DAY: RELAXED PROGRAMME
SUNDAY: Transfer from Málaga to Jubrique. Dinner and night at Jubrique.

WEDNESDAY:By car to Algatocín, then walk along mule-paths to Benadalid. Dinner and night at Benadalid.
THURSDAY: Visit to Ronda with our historical topo-guide, by local bus from Benadalid and back to Jubrique. Picnic. Bus fares (about 6 euros) and entrance fees not included. Dinner and night at Jubrique.
FRIDAY: The luxuriant Monarda valley and its pinewoods. Picnic. Dinner and night at Jubrique.
SATURDAY: The chestnut groves and orchards of the Higuerón. Picnic. Dinner and last night at Jubrique.
SUNDAY: Transfer to Málaga.
